Quick start
Get jubsync set up in a few minutes.
jubsync links your Jobber account to HubSpot and keeps your clients, quotes, and jobs flowing in automatically — no manual data entry. Setup is a one-time process with five short steps.
Step 1 — Add the app in Jobber
Open the Jobber App Marketplace, search for jubsync, and click Connect. Jobber will ask you to authorize access to your account. jubsync only requests read access to the data it needs — your clients, quotes, jobs, and account details.
Step 2 — Authorize HubSpot
After connecting Jobber, you'll be redirected to HubSpot. Sign in if needed and choose the portal (HubSpot account) you want your Jobber data to sync into, then approve access.
HubSpot may ask you to confirm the connection. While jubsync is pending HubSpot Marketplace approval, you'll see a Connecting an unverified app screen. This is normal for apps that aren't listed on the Marketplace yet. To continue, type I accept the risk in the field shown, then click Connect. Once we're approved, this extra step will go away.
A free HubSpot CRM plan works perfectly — you don't need a paid HubSpot subscription. Each Jobber account connects to one HubSpot portal.
Step 3 — Choose your plan
After both accounts are connected, you'll land on the plan selection page. You have two options:
- Starter — $39/mo (or $29/mo billed annually) with a 7-day free trial. You'll enter payment details but won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime before that.
- Early Partner — free for a limited time, in exchange for active feedback. No credit card needed. Limited spots available.
If you choose Starter, the checkout overlay is handled securely by Paddle (our payment provider). Once your plan is confirmed, you'll move to the next step.
If you've disconnected and are reconnecting, your previous plan is preserved and this step is skipped automatically.
Step 4 — Choose your sync range
On the setup screen, pick how much of your Jobber history you'd like to bring over:
- From now on — only new quotes and jobs created from this point forward. Safest if you already have data in HubSpot.
- From a specific date — start syncing quotes and jobs created on or after a date you choose.
- Everything — bring over your full Jobber history. Best for a fresh HubSpot account.
Your clients are always synced in full regardless of this setting — the range only affects how far back quotes and jobs go. See Connecting & sync range for more detail.
Step 5 — Your first sync runs
Once you've chosen a range, jubsync sets up the custom properties and pipeline stages it needs in HubSpot, then starts syncing in the background. Your Jobber clients appear as Contacts and your quotes and jobs appear as Deals.
The first sync can take a little while depending on how much data you're bringing over. After that, syncing runs automatically on a regular cycle — see Sync timing, manual & full sync.
Where to manage it
Your dashboard shows your connection status and the result of the last sync. From there you can run a sync on demand, force a full re-sync, or disconnect. You can reach it any time from the Jobber App Marketplace under your installed apps.
